A leaderboard for things you can walk into.
Velven is the community marketplace and leaderboard for spaces built with AI. Spaces stay where they are hosted. Velven is where they get found, entered, ranked, understood.
What counts as a space
Anything interactive in a browser you can enter or explore. Games, toys, tools, simulations, art. If it needs a download or an install, it is not a space.
Built with AI is required, and it is self-declared. You name the tools when you add a space, and that provenance shows on every row. Anyone can report a listing that lies.
How ranking works
A play is counted when someone enters a space on its Velven page, or through the badge on the creator's own site. One play per visitor per space per day. The creator's own plays never count.
Upvotes are single and reversible, one per signed-in person per space.

- Plays in the last 24 hours. The default, so a new visitor sees movement.

- Plays 24h plus upvotes, decayed by age. Newer spaces need fewer plays to climb.

- Total plays since launch.
- Launched today
- Everything launched since UTC midnight, ordered by plays 24h.
Which hosts play in place
Velven lists spaces on four hosts for now, chosen because each one lets a creator prove the site is theirs. More hosts come as that proof exists for them. Spaces play inside the Velven page; a host that blocks framing opens in a new tab instead, and plays count either way.
